How Zazew Works

There are two ways to create and if you wish, to collaborate on other writing projects at Zazew, namely:

Create Your Own Project

If you have an idea for your novel, subject book, white paper, research or other document, go to ‘Register’ and then ‘Create a Project’ If you plan to work on the project on your own, select the ‘Private’ option (you can of course open the project up to your own work group or the public at a later stage if you wish). Make sure you provide a summary for your own record or potential collaborators of what the project will be about. In other words, briefly set out the story or if it is a topical project you are proposing, set out what you aim to achieve in terms of your aims and objectives. Select your subject area or genre, your target audience, your number of chapters/sections and define your chapter/section titles and what each chapter/section should be about. Once you post your project, the details will be emailed to a list of waiting subscribers who have pre registered their interest in a project of this type. Finally, the project will be available for site visitors to search on and apply to join.

When other writers apply to join, download to write, upload to complete and as the project progresses, Zazew will keep you informed of all progress, so keep an eye on your personal email inbox.

Finally, once complete, you will be able to send the project for editing by a third party editor whose job it is to ensure consistency, continuation, correct grammar and as far as possible to bring the work together into a cohesive readable publication. Once completed, you get to choose whether to simply publish the work online as well as having the work printed, bound and sold online.

Remember, Zazew is free to use for the creation, planning, execution and publication of the authors’ work, so get writing!

Find A Suitable Project To Contribute To

So, you don’t have an idea for a project this time but would love to write and collaborate. So, simply register your details, create a profile, making sure you share in your profile your skills, life experiences and interests. This way authors searching for collaborators might find your profile suitable for their project (Imagine for example I am writing a novel about life in a financial brokerage and you have experience working in one. Your life experience will provide first hand knowledge for the novel). Next, perform a search for an existing project. If you find one, simply make an application to join any available chapters/sections and wait for the project owner’s response. If you are successful and accepted, you will then be able to download your chosen project part and enjoy your 14 days to write your chapter or section. Once complete, upload it and check your personal email inbox for news of progress. Once the project is completed, Zazew will let you know and if the project owner decides to have the work printed and bound, you can buy a copy to share with family and friends and put on your own bookshelf!
