Internet site created for budding authors
Published Date:
12 November 2009
Europe's first internet service for individual and collaborative writers has been launched by a Stowmarket couple.
Angela Gladden and marketing director Stephen Hackett set up the online writing network Zazew as a place for would-be writers to share their ideas and offer feedback within an online community.
The website offers a service where people can upload their ideas and await opinions and advice from a community of other contributors and some experienced editors.
Zazew provides the tools for aspiring writers to get started, offers support and feedback through tutorials and comments and brings like-minded people together.
It also allows writers to publish their story online and create an e-book or hard-copy of their book. They can then share it with friends and family, or sell it on the site or through Amazon.
Authors can also send their work to an editor before publication to check the book is readable.
