The Gate by Dearest

Summary

All our tales are about life on Earth, since man’s knowledge and reminiscence doesn’t overpass these boundaries. Dreams are the gate. Hence my story is titled “The Gate”.

It is colorful, exciting and terrifying. It is a lexicon for people who want to learn from past mistakes and a map for those who meet a dead end on their way for happiness or success.

The plot is situated in Kosovo. The main character is Danny, a beautiful designer in her 30`s. Her artistic nature and her outdated moral virtue get her face to face with the cruelest side of modern society. She fights to be socially accepted, her weapon being compromise. This plan turns against her. She holds out for a man hero. All man heroes fail. Her dreams at night become the only reliable ally. Anyway, she reaches the point where she must fight against herself, and change the entire attitude towards life. Part two is: The desperate sleep with the enemy. Do they dream? The greatest fear Danny ever stumps upon is the fear of losing her personality and faith during this process
